RICHMOND, VIRGINIA

Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Valuation from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master's in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She teaches in the real estate department at VCU as an adjunct faculty member. Her education also includes extensive classes from the Appraisal Institute in various income valuation areas, litigation, going concern, and specialized topics.

Heather is very involved with the Appraisal Institute, as a national Appraisal Institute Board Member, Regional Vice-Chair, Diversity Panel member, Chairman of the Board for the AI Relief Foundation and served as the 2018 Virginia Commonwealth Chapter President. She serves on the National Board of Directors as a board member and Vice-Chair of Region V.

Heather is also active in a number of non-profit groups; she is the founding President of the Lake Gaston Junior Women's Club, member of the Midlothian Junior Women's Club, former co-chair of Cinderella Dreams, Lee District GFWC (General Federation of Women's Clubs) Juniors Assistant Director, State Director of Juniors Special Projects (Camp Easter Seals) and member of the Richmond Chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors (2019 President). Heather was the 2020 president of the Mid Atlantic CCIM Chapter. She has a passion for animals and is on the Richmond SPCA Fur Ball Committee.
